Things That Make You Go Hmmm…

The persona form field is finally live in lead flows.

Let’s celebrate!

Stop the party!

There is an issue! It says persona and it’s not customizable. Plus, you cannot customize the property itself. It should say “How would you best describe yourself!”

No worries, one of the HubSpot tutorials today is how to fix your sadness and put on that happy face once again until HubSpot fixes it and we don’t need a workaround.

HubSpot Updates

[Now Live] Catalogue Custom Meeting Types Directly Within the Meetings Tool

What is it?
Now live is the ability to catalog your custom meeting types directly within the meetings tool.

Catalogue Custom Meeting Types Directly Within the Meetings Tool

Why does it matter?
Recently, HubSpot launched the ability to create, set, and report on custom “types” for calls and meetings in Sales Professional.

Custom types such as “Introductory Meeting” or “Demo” give you the ability to get organized while logging your activities and generate reports by type over time.

If you have custom meeting types created, you can now further streamline your process with the ability to catalog meetings by type directly within the meetings tool.

The meeting is then automatically logged by the custom type in your CRM – this means a more efficient and accurate logging process for you, saving precious time and keeping you more organized.

Set Your Preferences For The Messages You Want to Recieve

First, why is this happening?

Because HubSpot is sunsetting Weekly/Monthly Portal Summary Emails. HubSpot released this statement.

In March 2018, we will stop sending the weekly/monthly portal summary emails out to HubSpot users. These emails are currently controlled within the Notifications Center.

So why the change?

You shouldn’t have to dig through different settings pages within HubSpot to configure or refine the notifications you receive or care about.

Today, we’ve introduced a new unified notification preferences page that allows you to easily configure the notifications you receive by notification type, and then more granularly by the HubSpot tool generating the notification.

This new experience gives you total control about the types, and ways you receive notifications from HubSpot.
